If you wish, we will pick up your pet at your home. Because the comfort of the animals is first and foremost, we can only transport a limited number of them on each trip. It is therefore important that you reserve a transportation service sufficiently in advance of when you need it, especially if you have organized your own trip on specific dates.

Granja la Luna has a vehicle that meets all requirements for the transportation of animals. An air conditioning system keeps the space devoted to your pets at a temperature below 25º C, which eliminates the risk of heat stroke. In the winter, the heating system keeps the animals warm while they are traveling.

Our delivery truck follows a pre-established route to ensure that the animals spend the least amount of time en route to or from Granja la Luna. For this reason, it is very difficult for us to change the route or adjust it for the convenience of the owners of the animals.

The routes are determined on a daily basis. We will call you in the morning of the pick up or delivery to tell you when to expect the arrival of the delivery truck. You can also call in the afternoon of the day before your pet will be picked up or returned to you, for us to give you an approximate hour.

The pick up and delivery service to and from your home is available on work days from Monday through Friday. During our opening hours, Granja la Luna is open every day of the year except the 25th of December and the 1st of January, when it is closed to the public. It is closed in the afternoon on the 24th and 31st of December.

Outside of our opening hours, we do not admit animals nor return them to their owners.

We will indicate to you an approximate time of pick up or delivery. There are many things that might slow us down for even a couple of hours. Special holiday traffic, traffic jams and the blocking of highways, plus rain are circumstances beyond our control which will influence the timing of our transportation service.

If you depend on the arrival of our transportation service in order to start your own trip, we recommend that you have your pet picked up or delivered a day ahead.

The delivery truck will stop in front of your home. If the driver can park easily, he will go up to your door to fetch your pet. If not, it will be necessary for you to be prepared to take the pet down to the delivery truck.

Pick up zones

We regret that we cannot pick up and deliver pets everywhere in the province because we cannot transport animals for long distances. If you live outside of our pick up and delivery zones, you can bring your pet to a place within a pick up or delivery zone.

Our area for transportation includes the city of Madrid, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Las Rozas, Las Matas, Boadilla, Alcobendas, La Moraleja, San Fernando de Henares, Coslada, Torrejón de Ardoz, Alcalá de Henares, Mejorada, Velilla de San Antonio, Getafe, Leganés, Arganda and Rivas Vaciamadrid.
