We are 35 minutes from Madrid
Belmonte de Tajo, Madrid
We are 35 minutes from Madrid In a small town called Belmonte de Tajo, located in the Community of Madrid. All you have to do to find us is to take the A3 motorway in the direction of Valencia. Alternatively, you could take the R3 toll road and turn off at Km. 48.
When you reach Belmonte de Tajo, continue along on the same road through town until reaching the far side WHERE YOU WILL SEE THE MUNICIPAL SPORTS CENTRE. 20 metres after the sports centre, you will see a yellow signpost on the left hand side indicating the road leading to Granja La Luna. N.B. Don’t drive too fast or you will end up going passed us.
When coming from Madrid on the M30, take the A3 exit. The journey will take you 35 minutes without rushing. If you use the GPS, then just put in directions to Belmonte de Tajo. Continue on the same road until reaching the far side of the town where you will find the municipal sports centre. The GPS can often be misleading and take you on a route across country.

Places to visit in the area
In Belmonte de Tajo, there are a few small bars where you can enjoy an aperitif. It is a very pleasant town in which to go for a walk with the dogs or a bike ride. There are olive groves and pine forests surrounding the town. We belong to the district of Las Vegas. This is a little known area located to the South East of Madrid, and one that has plenty of charm. It is worthwhile spending a little time here on your next visit.
Five minutes’ drive will take you to the nearby town of Colmenar de Oreja, famous for its main square. It is also famous for its Madrid wines and olive oil. Also, another town called Chinchón, with its famous square and restaurants (I recommend one called Las Cuevas del Vino). Or Villarejo de Salvanés with its tower and numerous bars.
Your pets need a holiday at Granja La Luna
Don’t worry, they are in good hands.
